SLCC-Teacher Recruitment Scholarship
This scholarship supports students from diverse backgrounds to become teachers and return to their community as educational leaders and mentors for future generations. Sponsored by Canyons, Davis, Granite, Jordan and Salt Lake School districts. Each scholarship will be renewable for a second year at Salt Lake Community College based on maintaining a minimum of a 2.5 GPA. Scholarship funds will cover the cost of full-time tuition and fees, and approximately $3,500 per year for books/supplies. Utah State Alumni Resident Scholarship
The Resident Alumni scholarship may be awarded to undergraduate Utah residents who have at least one parent or grandparent who graduated from Utah State University. Award Amount $250. Duration One time, Fall 2024 Semester Only. Requirements - Be admitted as a first-time undergraduate student. Have at least one parent or grandparent who earned an associate degree or higher from Utah State University. Submit required application before deadline. U OF U – ARUP UTAH PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP
The University of Utah provides a specific scholarship program that assists incoming Freshman students in financial need with educational costs. The Utah Promise scholarship program provides additional support to academically qualified students with financial need to gain access to a great education the University of Utah provides. The Utah Promise scholarship provides $2,000 per year ($1,000 each semester) to recipients, for up to 4 semesters. Awards will be offered to students as funding allows, with consideration being given to those identified with the highest financial need. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and financial aid file with the University of Utah by Feb. 1, 2024 to be considered. The Dixie and Anne Leavitt Off-Campus Scholarship Housing Application 2023-2024 Academic Year
Recipients will be required to pay 25% of housing costs.
Important: Scholarship Housing is a one-year renewable scholarship (up to 8 semesters maximum). You must be enrolled as a full-time student, have a completed 2024-2025 FAFSA application, for SUU students, an institutional or high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater, and for Southwest Tech students, must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress to be considered for Scholarship Housing Single applicants must be willing to share a room. EDWARD S. ROTH MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP
Award to a graduating high school senior student, who will enroll in an accredited four-year degree program in manufacturing engineering at a sponsored ABET-accredited school. Minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a U.S. citizen. Must be seeking a Bachelor's or Master's degree in manufacturing engineering from the list of ABET accredited schools below: California Polytechnic State University; California State Polytechnic University; University of Miami; Bradley University; Central State University; Miami University; Boston University; Worcester Polytechnic Institute; University of Massachusetts; St. Cloud State University; The University of Texas - Pan American; Brigham Young University; Utah State University. U of U - First Ascent Scholars Eccles School of Business Scholarship
The First Ascent Scholars mission is to cultivate, encourage and enable academically focused students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds to: attend the Eccles school, connect with the University of Utah, local and global community, and reach their full academic potential. American Meteorological Society Undergraduate Scholarship
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold permanent resident status.Applicants must be entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2024 as a full-time student and plan to pursue a degree in the atmospheric or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. Marine biology does not meet this requirement. The scholarship stipend is $5000, awarding $2500 each year (for the freshman and sophomore years). The second-year funding is dependent on successful completion of the first year. McDonald’s® HACER® National Scholarship
High school seniors who are legal citizens of the US who have a 2.8 GPA and have at least one parent who is of Hispanic heritage may apply for this scholarship. MOUNTAIN AMERICA ELEVATE SCHOLARSHIP

BRIGHT STAR AND RISING STAR SCHOLARSHIPS
(CANYONS SCHOOL DISTRICT EDUCATION FOUNDATION)
A student from each high school will be awarded a $2,500 Bright Star Scholarship and we will award one district wide Rising Star Scholarship of $3,500. The award is given over two years to encourage the student to continue their education. Scholarship funds can be deferred for up to three years. Scholarship winners will be recognized at the Canyons Education Foundation Gala on March 28, 2024, and their individual high school senior awards night, scholarship recipients are requested to attend both events.
The Bright Star Scholarship seeks to reward a senior from each high school in the district who has shown improvement or exemplary effort in working toward the goal of post-secondary education.
The Rising Star Scholarship will reward one senior from the district who has “risen” above difficult circumstances either in family life, financially, emotionally, scholastically, etc. and is still dedicating themselves to furthering their education.

CENTER FOR CYBER SAFETY AND EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
Must be pursuing, or plan to pursue, a degree with a focus on cybersecurity or information assurance. Be a senior in high school. GPA must be at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
